Sometimes, while making documents, either academic-related or business-related, some pages in mid of papers or the end make the format irregular. It seems quite harsh to delete the page in Word because Microsoft word doesn’t have this feature in it.
Here are some steps to delete page in Word:
Simple steps:
- Click or tap on the page to delete
- Press Ctrl + G.
- Type the \page in the box named as entering the page number.
- Press Enter.
- Select Close.
Step 1: Select the page to delete
First, make sure the page you want to delete. After selecting the page, tap anywhere on the page you want to delete.
Step 2: Select the complete page
After selection open the Go To function with shortcut key Ctrl + G
Type the page number in the Enter page number box.
Select Go To.
Press the button Close.
Step 3: Delete the page you want
Word does not have a dedicated page deletion tool.
After selected the whole page, you can quickly delete it.
After confirming the page, you want to delete
Press the Delete key.
How to delete a blank page in Word
Delete the word page without any text on it, is quite easy by following these methods:
Step 1: Open the Navigation Pane in Word. Another method is selecting View from the top menu
Firstly, make sure that the Navigation Pane box is ticked. It will show up on the left side of the Word in the column. It shows all the pages in the document.
Step 2: Scroll down on the column and select the page you want to delete. Select the page with a click on it.
Step 3: Press Ctrl + Shift + 8 to show the paragraph indicators that created the blank page in the first place.
Step 4: Click and drag to select all the paragraph marks
Press the Delete key to delete the blank page.
