Joker

Directed by: Todd Phillips

Produce by: Todd Phillips, Bradley Cooper, Emma Tillinger Koskoff

Written by: Todd Phillips, Scott Silver

Joker Film Cast

  1. Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck / Joker
  2. Robert De Niro as Murray Franklin
  3. Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond
  4. Frances Conroy as Penny Fleck

Joker Film Story

Arthur Fleck lives with his elderly mother in a dilapidated building and makes ends meet by advertising on the street disguised as a clown, waiting for the right material to fulfill the desire to be a comedian. His life, however, is a tragedy: ignored, trampled on, bullied, made fun of by anyone, he has developed a nervous tic that makes him laugh out loud uncontrollably, making him disturbing and further distancing any possible social relationship from him.

But one day Arthur can’t take it anymore and reacts violently, gun in hand. While the Gotham City police hunt down the killer clown, the population elects him as a metropolitan hero, a symbol of the revolt of the oppressed against the arrogance of the rich.

He presents himself with a card, Todd Phillips’ Fleck, but it is not a playing card: it is the document of a mental illness, which makes him an outcast, a rejection of society, as the first sequence of the film tells us, superimposing on his face the chronicle of a city in disarray, submerged by physical and metaphorical garbage.

How to Train Your Dragon: the Hidden World

Directed by: Dean DeBlois

Produce by: Bonnie Arnold, Brad Lewis

written by: Dean DeBlois

How to Train Your Dragon: the Hidden WorldFilm Cast:

  1. Jay Baruchel as Hiccup
  2. America Ferrera as Astrid Hofferson
  3. Gerard Butler as Stoick the Vast
  4. Kit Harington as Eret.

How to Train Your Dragon: the Hidden World Film Story:

It has already been several years since 15-year-old Hiccup met the fearsome Night Fury dragon, who later became Toothless, his best friend. The Vikings have now accepted his presence in the village and now the time has come for them to build together a world of peace and serenity, populated by men and dragons fighting side by side. However, the undertaking is not one of the easiest.

To make a foray into the happy village will be Grimmel, the well-known dragon hunter who has brought the entire species to extinction and who only needs Toothless to complete the work. The dragon, however, does not seem to be so frightened: the arrival of a Bright Fury will distract him from his tasks and also from his friendship with Hiccup, from which he will distance himself further and further.

The statements of the director Dean DeBlois leave no hope to the fans: this will be the last adventure of Hiccup and Sdentato, as well as the story of the story that will reveal to the world why dragons no longer exist in our age. Will it be the soul mate of Toothless to put an end to the partnership between men and dragons?

Surely the entry on the scene of the new creature (which DeBlois has defined as “very elusive, wild and very rare”) mixes all the cards on the table of the trilogy that never before had seen the two inseparable friends take different paths. A lot of curiosity also for the new villain, told by the official voice actor F. Murray Abraham as “an effective villain because he is intelligent, dedicated to hunting and decisive. The perfect balance against the good. We like his clarity; he knows exactly who he is”.

Aladdin

Pretending to be different from what he is will not be so easy for Aladdin, who will find himself colliding with his lies. Like the animated film of almost twenty-seven years ago, this new remake will also be faithful to the fairy tale “Aladdin and the wonderful lamp” contained in the collection “The Thousand and One Nights”.

However, the original narrative line is expected to be expanded, as, in part, confirmed by other products of the same vein released in recent years in which new details about the characters and their past have been revealed.

All that remains is to try to buy the steering wheel on eBay, venturing into that unknown universe called the Internet. In its structural aspect, this second film follows the steps of the first, although it cannot fully reproduce its sentimental intensity, because the first meeting between the protagonists remains unique and unrepeatable.

Inside, however, the crackling episodes are numerous and intelligent; stages of a sentimental journey that takes us through our age judging it with irony but without a wand, as in another setting, another game scenario, within which we do not stop (or should not stop) being human.
