She was born in Pakistan but she spent most of her life in Canada from where she received her early education and then did her bachelors from the York University. The talented star Ushna initiated her acting career with a debut supporting role in the drama serial ‘Mere Khwabon Ka Diya’ in 2013 in a supporting role opposite Sajal Ali and Danish Taimoor.
Because of her stability and flexibility, she can mould herself in any personality she plays with perfection, because of her qualities she became recognized in the eyes of the directors and viewers ad was offered more roles. Her breakthrough was through the serial ‘Bashar Momin’ opposite Faysal Qureshi. The drama as liked and appreciated so much that it made its own fan base and was a hit of that time.

In 2018 she again came with a new and different role in a serial ‘Balaa’ opposite Bilal Khan and Samina Pirzada in a negative role which she portrayed with perfection. In 2016 she made her Lollywood debut with a film ‘Teri Meri Love story’ opposite Mohib Mirza, Mohsin Abbas Haider, The film was released with great expectations on 2nd September 2016 but failed commercially. The star took in her career took new experiences without fear of losing but only with ambition of learning, she was seen in a Pakistani online film ‘Oye Kuch Kar Guzar’ opposite Ali Safina and Uzair Jaiswal.
