She was born on 20th April 1988 in Karachi where she Currently still lives with her family.
She is the daughter Pakistani father Mohammad Yousuf and an Afghani mother, her family includes her elder sister Palwasha Yousaf is a fashion and hair stylist while her other sister Alishba Yousaf is also a part of the media industry, while one of her sister Ruqqaiya Yousaf died in 2013 due to cancer.
In the mean of her career, she fell in love with her co-star, a Pakistani eminent actor Shehroz Sabzwari, who later she married in 2012. Shehroze was the son of a legendary actor Behroze Sabzwari and Safeena Sheikh. She now is the mother of a beautiful daughter Noreeh Shehroz.

The young star did her first drama debut in the drama ‘Mera Naseeb’ along with Sanam Saeed, which was a breakthrough in the media industry and proved to be one of the best dramas of all time, She got instant fame and success for her role of Nazia in that serial.
After her powerful debut, she got loads of offers from various directors and producers to work in their content.
In 2012 she presented the role of Sareena is a sequel of a 27 years old drama serial ‘Tanhaiyan’ starring Alishba Yousaf, Shehryar Munawar and Shehroz Sabzwari. This drama acted as another step towards fame, recognition and success.
After her marriage, she took a few years to break, but when she came back she came with a blast, in 2016 she returned to the industry and gave a special appearance in a song ‘Shakar Wandarai’ in a movie ‘Ho Man Jahan’ opposite Adeel Hussain, Mahira Khan and Shehryar Munawar.
The next year, was the experience of her life as she featured in her official film debut ‘Chalay Thai sath’ opposite Zhalay Sarhadi, Mansha Pasha and Kent S. Leung for which she achieved the award for Best Film Debut.
Later on, presently in 2019, she acted in a movie ‘Project Ghazi’ alongside Humayun Saeed and Shehryar Munawar but sadly the film failed to impress the audience
