Sidharth Malhotra is an Indian actor in Bollywood. He made his debut in 2012 in Student of the Year, a romantic comedy directed and produced by Karan Johar.

Early Life

Sidharth Malhotra (Oriya: ସିଦ୍ଧାର୍ତା ମଲହାତ୍ର, Hindi:  सिद्धार्थ मल्होत्रा) was born on January 16, 1985, in Delhi, India. Sidharth Malhotra studied there at St Xavier High School, but he decided to end his studies to devote himself to modeling after being noticed in a cafe by an agent.

His father, Sunil Malhotra, is a doctor, his mother Rimma Malhotra, is a middle school principal. When he was 8 years old, his parents left Surate for Bombay.

Career

Very quickly, Sidharth Malhotra meets success as a model, wins several prizes, travels to Dubai and Paris; he poses for the biggest brands and appears in numerous advertising campaigns such as Cavalli. In parallel, he plays a secondary role in the series Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, broadcast on the Indian television channel Star Plus from 2006 to 2009.

Bollywood notices him and makes him make his acting debut in Student of the Year directed by Karan Johar. Exit in October 2012, this romantic comedy in which Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt also make their debut, won a nice popular success. It is the same for Ek Villain (Mohit Suri, 2014) which becomes one of the most profitable films of the year although crushed by the criticism which points out a bad remake of, I met the Devil but salutes the quality from the interpretation of Sidharth Malhotra and his partner Riteish Deshmukh.
