This was a T20I match against New Zealand, as he was stepping in for the injured Babar Azam. Shadab Khan first played in a T20 game for Rawalpindi on August 26, 2016. His great performance in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy got him a spot in the Trinbago Knight Riders team for the 2017 Caribbean Premier League. Later that year, he joined the Brisbane Heat for the Big Bash League’s 7th season.
