In 2023, KIA plans to introduce electric vehicles to the Pakistani market, and this blog is dedicated to documenting that event. The release times and locations for the new luxury automobile and electric vehicle (EV) from Kia Luck Motor Corporation (KLMC) have been announced. KLMC’s debut automobile displays will be at a few Karachi car dealerships. Both the Kia Stinger and Niro EV will be featured prominently in KLMC’s advertising efforts come late in 2020.

The KIA Niro EV is a premium electric vehicle that competes with cars like the Honda HR-V and Toyota RAV4. The Niro EV comes with two available powertrains to choose from.
- The first option is a single electric motor that delivers 130 horsepower (hp) and 394 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque to the front wheels.
- The second option is a single electric motor that produces 201 hp and 394 Nm of torque to the front wheels.
- The 13 horsepower variant comes with a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which offers a WLTP-approved range of 288 kilometers after a full charge.
- The 201 horsepower variant comes with a 64 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which provides a WLTP-approved range of 385 kilometers after a full charge.
Kia Stinger GT
Kia Stinger GT is a sleek and attractive mid-size executive Sportback. A strong 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine provides the vehicle’s motivation, resulting in 368 hp and 510 Nm of torque. Depending on the market, the engine can power either the rear wheels or all four wheels with a variable-ratio 8-speed automatic gearbox.
However, it has been reported that KLMC has no current intentions to launch the Kia Stinger GT in Pakistan, and that this display is only a publicity gimmick.
