Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) has increased the prices of various cars by incorporating a 25% General Sales Tax (GST) rate hike and passing on the impact to consumers for cars with engine capacities of 1400cc or more.

According to a report in Dawn, prices of Honda City MT 1.2L, City VTi 1.2L, City VTi 1.5L, Aspire MT 1.5L, and Aspire CVT 1.5L have been increased to Rs. 4,799,000, Rs. 4,929,000, Rs. 5,549,000, Rs. 5,759,000, and Rs. 5,979,000, respectively. Earlier, these were available at Rs. 4,579,000, Rs. 4,729,000, Rs. 5,019,000, Rs. 5,229,000, and Rs. 5,419,000, respectively.
Similarly, BR-V CVT S, HR-V VTi, HR-V VTi-S, Honda Civic 1.5L CVT, 1.5L Turbo Oriel CVT, and Civic 1.5L Turbo RS CVT will now be sold at Rs. 6,529,000, Rs. 7,899,000, Rs. 8,199,000, Rs. 8,599,000, Rs. 8,949,000, and Rs. 11,199,000, respectively, as compared to their earlier prices of Rs. 5,949,000, Rs. 7,199,000, Rs. 7,399,000, Rs. 7,779,000, Rs. 8,099,000, and Rs. 9,199,000, respectively.
It should be noted that on March 11, according to a report in Dawn, automakers started increasing car prices by passing on the impact of the GST hike to consumers.
Lucky Motor Corporation Limited also increased the prices of various car models in a separate announcement.
