Whatsapp Introduced New Feature

Whatsapp Introduced New Feature

Posted on Nov 7, 2019

Users of the WhatsApp find it quite difficult when someone suddenly adds them to a chat group, which makes it even harder to get out of it due to maravat. But now WhatsApp has addressed this issue and introduced a new feature. This feature introduced by the WhatsApp gives users more control over groups.

With this feature, it will not be possible to add users to a group without their wish. This feature has been working since last year and was introduced in April this year but was only available to people in India. Now it has been introduced to all users globally and it would not be wrong to say that it will not only get people relief but it will also help reduce spam messages.

Groups have been added to the WhatsApp Privacy section for this feature. To use this feature, open the WhatsApp app and click on the three-dot menu in the top right, go to the settings menu and select Account and go to Privacy and then Groups option.

There are 3 options in front of you, Avery One, MyContacts, and MyContactException. Selecting Everyone will mean that anyone can add a user to the WhatsApp group. With the option called MyContacts, the people in this user's contacts will be able to make it part of a group, while MyContextException allows you to blacklist specific people that you add to different groups.

When the feature was introduced in India, the third option was Nobadi instead of MyContext, but this new option is potentially more useful as it will give the user more control. People that you will not be allowed to add to the group will be able to send invitations to the private chat that you choose to accept or reject, otherwise they will expire automatically after 3 days.
