YouTube has removed the trending tab from its Android and iOS apps to explore it.
Just like trending, the Explore page will see the same videos that people are watching the most, but it also includes some categories of gaming, music, beauty, and learning.
Trending has also been given a separate section within the Explore page, meaning it has not completely disappeared.
The Explore tab has been in the works for a year and will also help youtube or hubs feature videos or specific topics like music.
YouTube says more sections will be added in the near future.

The trending tab was considered controversial by YouTube creators because they thought that traditional media such as TV networks were being preferred by YouTube.
YouTube has now acknowledged their concerns and decided to put the Emerging Craftsman and Artist category on the Explore page.
Last year, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki acknowledged the importance of putting credible content on the trending page.
He said that the company is very careful about these videos and assured that it will not prevent good content.
He also acknowledged that more work could be done on behalf of the company.
