Apple is likely to introduce a cheaper iPhone soon and it has now been claimed that it will be rolling out to version 2.
According to the GSM Arena report, the Plus version will be introduced along with the iPhone 9, which can be given a 5.5-inch display and can be named as the iPhone 9 Plus.
It will have the A13 Bionic processor, which is also present in last year's iPhone 11 series phones.
According to the report, some of the iOS 14 codes have been confirmed and indicated that the iPhone 9 series phones will be replaced by the 2017 iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
Given the popularity of the iPhone 11 and iPhone XR, the company expects cheap iPhones to be able to catch people's attention.
Both phones will be given a Touch ID security option, but the date of their introduction is not clear yet as the supply chain has been affected as a result of the Coronavirus.
Earlier reports had said that the iPhone 9 could be introduced at the end of March, but as a result of the Coronavirus, plans to introduce it has been postponed indefinitely.
It should be noted that the iPhone 9 will have a 4.7-inch screen, while the design may be similar to the iPhone 8, but it will have the same processor as the iPhone 11.
This phone will have most of the features of the 2019 iPhones while the cheap LCD display will be used to keep the price low.
It will have a 12-megapixel single camera on the back like the iPhone 8, and a camera on the front.
Apart from this, 64 to 128 GB storage options will be offered along with 3GB of RAM
