Coda Story, a known global podium to share news about the digital crisis, has publicized a deal among the Pakistani and a provocative Canadian firm, Sandvine for internet monitoring.
According to the news, Pakistan is going to install a “web monitoring system.”. Sandvine will be given that instruments for whole internet surveillance where all incoming and outgoing traffic flow from Pakistan will be observed using a system called Deep Packet Inspection.
According to the contract available with Coda, an agreement worth $18.5 million was signed in December 2018. Sandvine will provide a system to observer communications, measure and best traffic call data on behalf of PTA, Pakistan’s national telecommunications manager.
