If you use Google's browser Chrome to surf the Internet, update it immediately.

This new Chrome update from Google fixes 3 security vulnerabilities that exist in this browser.

An updated version of Chrome has been released on 80.0.3987.122, which is available to Windows, Mac and Linux users but has not been introduced to the Android and iOS platforms.

To update this new version, users need to open the settings in Chrome and scroll down to the left and click on Chrome to see the version number, or they may see an option to update.

Google did not mention the security vulnerabilities in Chrome in a blog post but labelled them 'high', allowing hackers to send users to a faked web page that could affect the entire computer system.

The blog states that Google is aware of reports of hackers taking advantage of CVE-2020-6418.

Google mentioned the Type Confusion InV8 in the description of CVE-2020-6418.

V8 refers to the process of JavaScript code being executed by Chrome while typing confusion is intended to convey a situation whereby hackers can add suspicious code to an application.

A Forbes report called it Zero-Day vulnerability, a security vulnerability that security researchers don't know about, but hackers can benefit from it.

These weaknesses were also discovered by André Bargull, a person with the Google Security Team, who received a $ 5,000 reward for reporting this.

Google urges users to update to the new Chrome version so they can avoid harm.
