Huawei denies accusing Chinese government of financing

Posted on Dec 30, 2019

Huawei received $ 75 billion in financial support from the Chinese government to help the company invest in open-mindedness. The US Journal Wall Street Journal made this claim in its report, citing publicly available records, while Huawei has denied it.

According to the report, Huawei received $ 46 billion in loans and line of credit from the state-controlled lenders and a grant of 1.6 billion dollars.

Similarly, Huawei received $ 25 billion in tax revenue from 2008 to 2018, which was part of the incentives provided to Chinese technology companies and received $ 2 billion for land purchases.

Huawei, on the other hand, strongly denounced this article by reacting to different tweets and a lengthy statement.

The company said: "Once again Wall Street Journal has published a false article about Huawei on false information, this time accusing the company of capital and ignoring 30 years of investment for research and development. Is aimed at diversifying and improving the technology industry. '

The Chinese company said it had the right to take legal action against the US journal, which has published numerous irresponsible articles.

Huawei emphasized that capitalization on its exploration and development is the reason for its success, in the last 30 years 10 to 15 percent of the annual revenue was spent on developing new technologies and products.

The company also denied that it was treated specially by the Chinese government.

The Wall Street Journal reported in its report that most governments support their big companies, for example Boeing is often funded by the US government.

It is understood that Huawei was justified by the US government by blacklisting that it spies near and for the Chinese government, but was denied several times by the company.

As a result of US sanctions, Huawei could not use Google services and apps in its flagship phone Mate 30 while Android had to use the open-source operating system.

In this regard, Huawei's founder Ren Zheng Fai told CNN in November 2019 that Huawei could become the world's number one smartphone company, away from Google software and apps.

He said that the time to return to normal business is fast approaching, and once the company introduces an alternative operating system, it will not look back and its negative impact on the US. ۔

He added that if work on Plan B goes up, then there will be little chance for us to return to the previous operating system (Android) and software, and even if there is a return, for a new alternative.

"This is a very important time for all of us, and the US government should consider the interests of American companies," said Ren Zheng Fai.

He warns Samsung and Apple that despite being blacklisted by the US, his company will become the number one smartphone company. "Without Android, we can become the world's number one company, I don't think any of it. There will be a problem, just take time '
