An App is Being Opened for Citizens to Find Toilets in Public Places

An App is being opened on October 19 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for citizens and tourists to find toilets in public places across the province.
According to the newspaper, Imranullah Mohammed, Assistant Coordinator of the Local Government Department Water and Sanitation Services Cell, made this known during a briefing to Kamran Bangash, Special Assistant Science and Technology Assistant to Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan.
Imranullah Mohammed said that such an app is running to help citizens in Australia and India and now the people of KP will also be able to avail of this facility. He said the app was designed to assist in the search for toilets, keeping the province clean and pollution environment and protecting citizens from diseases.
The Assistant Coordinator said that the app will provide all necessary information regarding toilets to the public, including how far the toilets are, all public information, including facilities available for men and women, children and people with disabilities. Will be
Speaking on the occasion, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Kamran Bangash praised the provincial department officials, saying it would facilitate the public as well as tourists and the project would help to present a good picture of the province.
He said that according to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, steps are being taken to make the country clean and green.
Kamran Bangash said that all available resources are being used for digitalization and making the province paper-free.
It should be remembered that the previous provincial government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had started a tree-planting project and under this scheme, hundreds of millions of trees were grown across the province.
