Actress Veena Malik's ex-husband Asad Khattak has leveled serious allegations against his ex-wife and Consul General in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa for help. Addressing a press conference in Peshawar after arriving in Pakistan from Dubai via the US, Asad Khattak said that his ex-wife Veena Malik was defaming other state agencies including the army and ISI but the officials of the concerned agencies were not taking notice.
Asad Khattak claimed that Veena Malik used to intimidate and threaten him in the name of Army, ISI, and ISPR. He demanded from the Army Chief that these matters be investigated. He claimed that the Dubai court had ruled in his favor and instructed the Dubai government that Asad Khattak's children should not leave Dubai and that technically their children were still out. They did not go but Veena Malik, with the help of the Pakistani Consul General stationed there, abducted their children.

Asad Khattak claimed that Dubai-based Consul General Amjad Ali, at the request of Veena Malik, made outpass documents for his children which are made when someone has an emergency. He said that since their children's passports were in the custody of the Dubai government, at the request of Veena Malik, the Pakistani Consul General in Dubai made an outpass and transferred their children from Dubai to Pakistan. Is illegal.
On the same issue, he said that technically his children are still living in Dubai but in fact, their children have been abducted and transferred to Pakistan. Asad Khattak demanded the intervention of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Army Chief on the issue of illegal transfer of their children to Pakistan and appealed for an inquiry into the matter. He once again claimed that Veena Malik was using the name of Army and ISI while making serious threats against him and his family.

He also said that he had sent a legal notice to Veena Malik on the issue of child abduction and that he had come to Pakistan only for the sake of his children and he was sure that justice would be done to them. It may be recalled that Asad Khattak and Veena Malik were married on December 25, 2013, and have two children. However, when the relationship deteriorated, they divorced in 2017, just four years later.
The two are now fighting on social media over child custody and have been making serious allegations against each other. Both claim that they have also sent legal notices to each other, but so far they have not confirmed receiving each other's legal notices. Asad Khattak lives in the United States and has Dubai citizenship and arrived in Pakistan on January 4, 2021. After arriving in Pakistan, he shared a video on Twitter saying that he had come to Pakistan for the protection and justice of children.
