Jack Ma, the richest man in China and retired chairman of the e-commerce company Alibaba, has announced funding for the United States in the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Alibaba's co-founder, Chinese social media site Weibo, said Friday that it will provide one million medical masks and 5 million coronavirus testing kits for the United States.
These masks and kits will be provided through the Jack Ma Foundation, which also issued a formal statement to Jack Ma in a tweet.
"We are donating 5 million test kits and 1 million masks, we are with US citizens during this difficult time," the caption said.
"From the experience of my country, I can say that the speed and precise testing, the tools to protect medical personnel are the most effective in preventing the virus," Jack Ma's statement said.
He said, "It is hoped that these supplies will help some people in the United States. This epidemic is a challenge for humanity. Today it is not a challenge that any country can tackle alone but in the hands of everyone." We need to get our hands on this, we should share our resources anonymously and exchange experiences and lessons to prevent the outbreak so that we can have a chance to defeat the tragedy. '
He concludes the statement: 'We can stand united, we will fall if divided'.

The announcement comes after the Chinese government claimed that the US virus was likely brought by the US military to Wuhan, China.
Earlier, Jack Ma had announced the sending of 18 million medical masks and one million testing kits to Europe on Weibo.
It should be noted that the United States is currently facing difficulties due to the slow progress of the tests for the suspected patients.
In fact, in many countries, including China and South Korea, the testing process is lagging behind in the United States, and test kits are being procured by Jack Ma in view of the same problem.
As far as medical masks are concerned, fear of people has led to the shortage of various items such as masks in the US and increased risks for medical staff.
Jack Ma is currently the richest man in China but Asia with $ 42.7 billion, and the shock caused by the Coronavirus to the stock markets and economies around the world overtakes India's, Mukesh Ambani.
Mukesh Ambani suffered a loss of $ 5.8 billion on March 9 as a result of a stock market crash and oil prices falling, resulting in Jack Ma becoming the richest man in Asia two years later. ۔
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared March 11 as a universal pandemic of the Coronavirus, which has spread to 114 countries so far, affecting more than 100,000 people and killing more than 5,000 people. The number of victims is more than 69,000
