ISPR Director General (DG) Babar Iftikhar has said that the Pakistan Army has taken stern notice of the provocative statements made by the Indian military leadership.

During a press briefing in Rawalpindi, the DG ISPR said that a PSOs conference was held at GHQ today under the chairmanship of the Army Chief, in which the deployments of Pakistan Army across the country and in this regard were made. The steps taken were reviewed in detail while future strategies and measures to deal with all kinds of emergencies were also discussed at the conference.

The DG ISPR, first of all, congratulated the people on the arrival of Ramadan and said that Ramadan is a month of blessings, blessings, and forgiveness from Allah Almighty. 

He said that through this blessed month, may Allah Almighty save Pakistan and the whole world from this epidemic of Corona.

He said that today's briefing was aimed at getting acquainted with the points of the Special PSO Conference chaired by the Army Chief, the growing Indian aggression on the Line of Control, and some facts in the context of false propaganda and the spread of Coronavirus so far. In this situation, the Armed Forces of Pakistan are to be informed of the assistance of the Civil Administration.

The DG ISPR said that the Army Chief directed to use all resources with the civil institutions during Ramadan. He prayed that with the blessings of Ramadan, Pakistan and the world would be saved from Corona.

The DG ISPR said that Indian provocations on the Line of Control (LoC) have increased significantly in the recent past. So far this year, India has violated the ceasefire agreement 850 times and deliberately violated the LoC. It has targeted peaceful citizens of Azad Kashmir inhabited with control.

He said that the recent statements of the Indian military leadership show frustration over the internal failures, adding that the Pakistani forces have taken stern notice of the provocative statements of the Indian military leadership.

A spokesman for the Pakistan Army said that India had violated the ceasefire agreement 456 times since the first case of coronavirus was diagnosed in Pakistan on February 26, in which one infant was martyred and 31 people were injured, including seven. Including women and 8 children.

He went on to say that the recent statements of the Indian military leadership reflect India's internal failures and growing frustration.

He said that during the Coronavirus, the Pakistan Army has decided not to take an internal security allowance so that the money could be used to fight the Coronavirus.
