The Actor Nick Cordero Who Fought the Corona Virus for 3 Months Has Died

The devastation the new Coronavirus can cause to the body can be gauged from an actor who died after more than 90 days of battling the complications of COVID 19. Nick Cordero, a 41-year-old actor from Los Angeles, lost his first leg during a battle with the coronavirus, remained in a coma for several weeks, and died Sunday morning.

God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth. ⠀ I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere. My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him. Nick was such a bright light. He was everyone’s friend, loved to listen, help and especially talk. He was an incredible actor and musician. He loved his family and loved being a father and husband. Elvis and I will miss him in everything we do, everyday. ⠀ To Nicks extraordinary doctor, Dr. David Ng, you were my positive doctor! There are not many doctors like you. Kind, smart, compassionate, assertive and always eager to listen to my crazy ideas or call yet another doctor for me for a second opinion. You’re a diamond in the rough. ⠀ ⠀ I cannot begin to thank everyone enough for the outpour of love , support and help we’ve received these last 95 days. You have no idea how much you lifted my spirits at 3pm everyday as the world sang Nicks song, Live Your Life. We sang it to him today, holding his hands. As I sang the last line to him, “they’ll give you hell but don’t you light them kill your light not without a fight. Live your life,” I smiled because he definitely put up a fight. I will love you forever and always my sweet man. ❤️

After 2 weeks, his right leg had to be amputated due to the thickening of blood or blood clots. During treatment, he lost septic shock, 2 minor strokes and 65 pounds of weight, while a temporary pacemaker was implanted to restore his heartbeat. He underwent kidney dialysis and came out of a coma several weeks later on May 13, while his wife could not see her husband for 79 days because of COVID 19 restrictions at the hospital.

In May, tests for the corona infection returned negative and he came out of a state of insensibility, yet his condition didn't improve in light of the fact that specialists thought he required a transplant of his lungs. These actors are well-known Broadway actors who are known for their work in Blitz Over Broadway, Waitress, and A Bronx Tale: The Musical.

In May, Amanda Kloots warned others that the disease does not only affect the elderly, it is a real disease, but it can also happen to a perfectly healthy 41-year-old man, it can happen to you, at home. Stay and follow the precautions. He later said in another interview that the actor was still suffering from a lung infection, which occurred when he was suffering from septic shock. It was this lung infection that led to the actor's death and his wife wrote in an Instagram post, "I can't believe it and my heart is broken because I can't imagine life without him." He was everyone's friend and helped.

Remember that coronavirus is not just a virus that is confined to the respiratory system but has one thing in common with some of its most dangerous symptoms, and that is blood clots. The disease can lead to heart problems, kidney damage, and mental health complications.
