He said that this week around 16 to 17 flights from the United Arab Emirates to PIA and Emirates will return our citizens.

To prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, the Civil Aviation Authority once again last week extended it to April 30, deciding to increase the closure of international and regional air operations.

However, special flights to Pakistanis stranded abroad will be exempted and a special website has been set up in this regard.

The schedule of all special flights brought to Pakistan from overseas can be viewed at Covid.gov.pk and a permanent update in this regard will continue.

It is worth mentioning here that the Government of Pakistan also announced a special flight operation from April 18 to 20 to bring the stranded Pakistanis back home, under which 23 special flights were announced.
