LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N Senator Pervez Rasheed appeared before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and recorded his statement regarding the Judge Video Scandal case.
According to the report, the FIA team, under the leadership of Babar Bakht, the head of the counter-terrorism wing, interrogated the Muslim League-N leader for 30 minutes.
A large crowd of policemen were present outside the FIA building on Temple Road.
However, like Atta Tarad's meeting on Friday, Pervez Rasheed's party did not protest against the raid on the Muslim League-N secretariat by the FIA.
Talking to Dawn later, Senator Pervez Rashid said he had asked the investigators to conduct a forensic audit of the video of former Accountability Court judge Arshad Malik, in which he came under pressure from former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Al-Azizah Mills reference. It should be noted that on December 23, the FIA had summoned senior leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Senator Pervez Rasheed, Deputy General Secretary Ataullah Tara and Azmi Bukhari in connection with the investigation into the case of former judge Arshad Malik.
In this regard, Ata Trader was summoned at 11 am on Friday 27th December, while Senators Pervez Rashid and Azmi Bukhari were summoned on 30th December, but Azam Bukhari did not appear because of his presence in London.
