LAHORE: Former Sri Lankan team captain Kumar Sangakkara has returned to Pakistan after 10 years, for the first time since the attack on the Sri Lankan team.

According to News, Sangakkara interviewed a British newspaper and said that he would be happy to play in Pakistan. Before 2009, the experience of Pakistan has always been good; the people of Pakistan are loving and hospitable.

Kumar Sangakkara said that when you go to Pakistan, they open their hearts, hoping that cricket will not be attacked again, I decided to visit the country after seeing the security arrangements. Pakistan is a safe country, very excited to play here.

He added that it is a pleasure to be contributing to cricket's return to Pakistan. I also tell teams from other countries to visit Pakistan. I came to Pakistan for the first time in 2002, the memories of that visit are still fresh.

MCC team arrives in Pakistan

It is understood that the team of the world-famous Marley Boone Cricket Club (MCC), led by former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara, has arrived in Lahore on a 7-day visit. The MCC team arrived in Pakistan after 47 years. The MCC team will play four matches in Lahore, tomorrow the T20 match between the Qalandars and MCC teams will be played at Gaddafi Stadium.

The one-day match with Pakistan Shaheens will be held on February 16, February 17 with Northern and T20 match with Multan Sultans on February 19.
