Renowned Pakistani singer Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has won many awards and accolades in the world of music, but now he has also won a unique award.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's streaming website YouTube had 5 million subscribers and he became the first Pakistani musician to have so many subscribers.

Several songs by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the only Pakistani singer to win the award with 5 million subscribers, have been viewed more than 5 million times on YouTube.

Some of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's songs have been viewed more than one crore times while one of his songs 'Zaruri Tha' has been viewed more than one billion times so far. Although Rahat Fateh Ali Khan launched his channel on YouTube a decade ago, he started singing at a very young age. Teacher Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who started singing at the tender age of 7, gained the most fame after the death of his teacher Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and was declared his voice.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan not only entertained the music fans by re-signing dozens of popular songs of his teacher Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan but he also gained a new place thanks to these songs. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has released more than 50 music albums so far while he has sung more than 100 songs in Indian films.

Apart from music albums, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also released dozens of singles, while he also released Naat and Hamdia Kalam. On the occasion of 5 million subscribers on YouTube, he thanked the fans in a short video and said that he got this award only because of the fans.
