The Lahore Civil Court summoned the parties on September 30 on a petition filed against actress Meera for fraudulently naming a canal house.
Civil Court Judge Adnan Ali heard Tasleem Kausar's petition against actress Meera. The woman had taken the position that Meera had fraudulently got a one-canal house in her name and the actress wanted to sell my house now. A woman named Tasleem Aslam asked the court not to sell her house.
The court then summoned the parties and their lawyers for a final discussion at the next hearing. It may be recalled that the petitioner Naseem Kausar had filed a petition against Meera in the Civil Court of Lahore in early 2018, two years ago.
Actress Meera also appeared in court in the said case and submitted her reply in October 2018. In her reply to the court, Meera had said that she had paid the full price of the house and Tasleem Kausar had filed the petition to blackmail her.
The actress had said that there was no truth in the claim made in the petition. "I am the owner of the house and I have all the documents of the house," he said. In her reply filed in the court, actress Meera had requested the court to order dismissal of the petition in accordance with the law.
