Nokia's new flagship phone will be the world's first phone with a selfie camera inside the screen.
According to the GSM Arena report, Nokia's sales licensing company HMD Global had put the new flagship phone on hold and will now launch in the third or fourth quarter of 2020.
The company will get the opportunity to use the Snapdragon 865 processor on the phone, but with the introduction of the under-display selfie camera in Nokia 9.2 for the first time in the world.
The report cited credible sources as saying that the feature is also being tested by the company in Nokia 9.2.
Other companies have been working on such a camera system before, and Oppo was given a glimpse, but the Chinese company said it needed time to make such a camera system phone.
HMD Global plans to introduce the first commercial phone with the under-display camera system, leaving Samsung, Huawei, Oppo and other companies behind.
It is to be noted that Nokia introduced the first Nokia 9 PureView with 5 back cameras but it failed to get the attention of the consumers.
That's why Nokia 9.2 is likely to give preference to traditional systems over the multi-camera setup.
According to the earlier leaks, the phone will be equipped with a bezel-equipped display with 32 or 48-megapixel camera while wireless charging and headphone jack.
