Pakistan Test team captain Azhar Ali
announced the inclusion of 16-year-old Naseem Shah in the final XI in the first
Test match of the series against Australia, after which the youngest fast bowler who played Test cricket in Australia's soil.
Speaking to media in Brisbane earlier,
Captain Azhar Ali said, "We will announce the final team in the morning
but Naseem Shah will be part of the team as he is bowling excellently".
Azhar Ali said, "Not every player can
reach this standard so quickly but there are some who are so talented and he is
one of them."

"We all wish him well for his a successful career," he said.
Speaking to the media before the first
match of the series, the young bowler said, "When I first saw him I was
surprised because he had a grip on the bowling and also had a brace and was an
important tapper." And it is a pleasure to see them bowling. '
Naseem Shah will become the youngest player
to make a Test debut in Australia, where he will face dangerous batsmen like
Steve Smith and David Warner. Referring to Australia's strong batting, Azhar
Ali said, "I think he will not need protection as a young bowler while he
is fully fit for the match."
"He played under my captaincy in the
first-class so I have no doubt about his bowling and fitness," he said.
Azhar Ali said that Naseem Shah was
'somewhat shy when he came on the team' but he is determined to have an international
career even though his mother has passed away before this series. Misbah

"His mother passed away last week,
which is a very difficult phase for him, but the next day he bowled, which was
a very difficult thing for us," said the national team captain.
Ian Craig holds the record for being the
youngest player to ever dabble in Test cricket in Australia, which he set in 17
years at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1953 against South Africa.
Pakistan have made good preparations for
the Test series against Australia and the players have done well in both the
betting and bowling areas in side matches.
