Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan urged veteran player Mushfiqur Rahim to change his decision to go to Pakistan with the team and said that every player on the contract should go to Pakistan.
According to a foreign news agency AFP report, Nazmul Hassan said Mushfiqur Rahim did not inform the board of his final decision.
"I hope they will go to Pakistan," he said.
"Every player in the contract should know, a family is important to everyone, but the country is more important," said Nazmul Hassan.
Mushfiqur Rahim is a veteran of the Bangladesh team and scored an incredible 203 in the match against Zimbabwe in Dhaka today and also won the best player award.
He refused to join the visiting team in the first round due to security reasons but other senior players came to Pakistan.
Nazmul Hassan said that Mushfiqur Rahim should consult his brother-in-law Mahmoodullah Riaz, who led the T20 team in Pakistan and was also part of the test team along with other players.
President BCB said, "We have said we will not emphasize them but after talking to everyone I think they should go".
It may be recalled that Bangladesh cricket team came to Pakistan last month and in the first phase, 3 T20s and one test was played in which Pakistan won the series by displaying the excellent game, but to complete the series Bangladesh team again. Pakistan will arrive in April.
Bangladesh cricket team will arrive in Pakistan on April 3 and will play one-day matches and a test match in Karachi in the second leg.
Bangladesh Cricket Board expects Mushfiqur Rahim to be ready to go to Pakistan after poor team performance in the first round.
The BCB wants better performance in the second Test against Pakistan so that they can improve their position in the ICC Test Championship.
It is believed that Pakistan and Bangladesh had a series of 3 Twenty20 and 2 Test matches, but the guest team had divided their tour of Pakistan into 3 parts because they did not want to stay longer in Pakistan due to security reasons.
