Lack of sleep is detrimental to women's heart health as a result of this habit they eat more.

Columbia University researchers found that women who have poor sleep quality tend to overeat with poor-quality diets, which in turn increases the risk of obesity as well as cardiovascular diseases. ۔
The Medical Journal Journal of the American Heart Association's research included 495 women who came to know about their sleep and dietary habits.
The women were between the ages of 20 and 76, and researchers discovered that one-third of women had poor sleep or some form of insomnia, while 27.5% were addicted to sleeping for 7 hours or less.
On average, most women were consuming more fat and sugar than recommended, while less consumption of commodities, fibre and milk products.
Researchers have found that women with low levels of sleep or poor quality sleep can eat more sugar and high amounts of food, which are linked to various diseases such as obesity and diabetes type two.
In contrast, the dietary choices of good sleep women were healthy.
Research reports in the past have shown that the link between poor sleep and the use of a diet that is harmful to health increases the likelihood of excessive eating, including fat.
Researchers point out that good sleep leads to better dietary choices, especially a diet that lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
He said that the research was of limited nature and that the relationship of sleep with diet may be indirect, whereas the method used does not prove that poor sleep causes harmful dietary choices in women.
Sleep quality can potentially lead to higher dietary and caloric intake as it stimulates hunger signals or suppresses the signals of stomach upset, he said.
