Born in 1979 in North Philadelphia, in the United States, Kevin Hart grew up with his mother and big brother Robert. His father, a cocaine addict, did not raise him, regularly spending time in prison. Kevin quickly discovers that he has a natural ability to make people laugh, so he uses it to make life easier for his people. After graduating in New York, he moved to Brockton, Massachusetts, and started a career in stand-up in addition to odd jobs.

Kevin Hart Career

After a difficult start, Kevin Hart entered competitions across Massachusetts and obtained good results. After being inspired by artists like Chris Tucker, Bill Cosby, and Chris Rock, Kevin Hart manages to find his own rhythm and his own style. He grabs his faults, his doubts, and makes fun of them.

2011 was a record year for him: with “Hart’s Laugh at My Pain comedy tour”, the success was such that it was at the top of the ranking of the number of best-selling tickets on Ticketmaster. Also, in 2011, in the space of two evenings, he broke the record set by Eddie Murphy of the number of admissions to the Nokia Theater. From success to success, it was during the summer of 2012 that he began the international tour of “Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain”, which he played in more than 100 American cities, then in European and African cities.

Note that these two tours (“Hart’s Laugh at My Pain” and “Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain”) were the subject of a documentary. The first in 2011, which brought in $ 8 million at the box office for distribution on only 300 screens, throughout the United States, made it one of the best independent films of the year. As for the second show, director Tim Story and director Leslie Small followed it and filmed it throughout his tour.

Over time, the actor acquired more and more important roles in cinema: by finding, for example, Robert De Niro in Ride Along (2014). He is also propelled to the front of the stage by the director Tim Story with whom he has already collaborated on the lucrative Think Like a Man for the buddy movie Put to the test which is also a big success at the box office. His recognized talent and his growing notoriety earned him a leading role in the romantic comedy About Last Night (2014).

In 2017, Kevin Hart plays one of the main roles of Jumanji Welcome to the jungle, giving the reply to Dwayne Johnson. The film is a triumph, raising $ 962 million in global revenues. The actor will resume his character in the sequel, Jumanji Next Level, released two years later. He never leaves The Rock, with whom he previously filmed in Central Intelligence and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
