Hearing on petition against former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court withdrew its order challenging the withdrawal of a petition filed by the former Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar in connection with the case.

 According to the report, Justice Omar Ata Bandial heard the petition against the registrar's office approving the petition.

Hina Jilani, Advocate on behalf of several members of the civil society, including Aafia Shahrbano Zia, Afrasiyab Khattak, M. Ziauddin, Farhatullah Babar, Neghat Saeed Khan, Farida Shahid, Rubina Sehgal and Bushara Gohar appeared at the hearing.

The applicants believe that there is a legitimate interest in ensuring the judicial accountability system under the standard of justice in which no one can raise questions on the credibility of the judiciary. '

After hearing in the chamber, Hina Jilani told reporters that Justice Omar Atta Bandial heard the stand on appeal in which he asked the registrar's office not to act as a gatekeeper to access justice.

She explained that the petitioners also petitioned the court through the petition that the judge whose attitude matches the explanation of the Miss Conduct would strengthen the Code of Conduct of the Judges and remove all obstacles to the accountability of the judges. Will go
