Film or Web Series on the Personal Life of the Founder of Pakistan

Although a film like 'Jinnah' has been made on the political struggle and life of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, and he has been featured in several films based on the history and politics of Hollywood and Bollywood.

However, for the first time, a film or web series on the personal life of the founder of Pakistan is likely to be made. According to the recruitment newspaper Hindustan Times, Bollywood film producer, Kumar Turani has acquired the copyright of the book 'Mr. and Mrs. Jinnah: The Marriage That Shook India', written on the second marriage of Indian journalist and writer Sheila Reddy, the founder of Pakistan.

Kumar Turani confirmed that he has acquired the ownership rights of the book, on which work on the second phase will begin soon. According to Kumar Turani, he has not yet hired any writer to write a script based on the book, nor has he shortlisted any director.

He said that no formal decision has been taken to make a film or web series on 'Mr. and Mrs. Jinnah: The Marriage That Shook India', however, it is likely that a film or web series will be made on the book. He did not elaborate on whether the book would be made into a film or a web series and said it was too early to discuss further.

Sheila Reddy's book "Mr. and Mrs. Jinnah: The Marriage That Shook India" was published by Indian publisher Penguin in 2017. The book revolves around the second marriage of the founder of Pakistan. The book describes the circumstances of the personal life of the founder of Pakistan before his second marriage, his marriage to Rati Jinnah, and the circumstances after their marriage.

Sheila Reddy gained fame from the book and she visited Pakistan after the publication of the book and gave an exclusive interview to journalist Mohsin Jagnu regarding her book. Sheila Reddy said in the interview that although Quaid-e-Azam became the founder of Pakistan, he was considered a hero and admirer of Bombay, India, and even today he is loved in India.

He said that Indians and especially people from Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and other cities still like to know the details of Quaid-e-Azam's life and read his biography. Sheila Reddy's book was also commented on in American and European journals, including Indian and Pakistani journals, in which many of the new claims made in the book were discussed.

It is too early to say how long the film or web series will be based on the book written on the personal life of the founder of Pakistan, but it is likely that work on it will begin by the end of next year. Most people think that a web series on 'Mr. and Mrs. Jinnah: The Marriage That Shook India' will probably be made instead of a film, but it is too early to say.
