Famous and senior actor of Pakistani film and drama industry Mirza Shahi have died due to global epidemic coronavirus. According to family sources, coronavirus was confirmed in Mirza Shahi last week due to which he was undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital Karachi.
He has later shifted to Vanity Fair 2 days ago due to ill health but the well-known actor could not recover. Host Nada Yasir and actor Yasir Nawaz also confirmed his death in various posts on Instagram. It may be recalled that a few days ago, Yasir Nawaz in a post had appealed to pray for the recovery of actor Mirza Shahi.

Yasir Nawaz had written to pray for Mirza Shahi Sahib, his condition is critical and he needs your prayers. A few days ago, actor Adnan Siddiqui had also appealed for prayers for Mirza Shahi's recovery and expressed hope for the actor's recovery from the coronavirus. It may be recalled that Mirza Shahi started his career in 1965 by performing a song in the Pakistani film 'Bahana'.
Mirza Shahi has also acted in films like 'Chakori', 'Chhote Sahib' and 'Naukar Wohti Da'. He has also acted in the popular comedy-drama ' Nadaaniyaan' aired on Geo TV and his comedy performance as Chacha Kamal was much loved in this drama.
Along with Moin Akhtar, his drama Eid Train was also very popular among the fans. Apart from this, he has shown the essence of his acting in many dramas.
His real name is Mirza Asghar Baig, but he gained popularity in the showbiz industry as Mirza Shahi. Apart from them, various Pakistani actors and singers have fallen victim to the coronavirus, including Sakina Simmons, Nada Yasir, Yasir Nawaz, Rubina Ashraf and others.
On May 21, Sindhi and Urdu stage dramas and TV actor Saghir Elahi Kachchi also passed away due to Corona. Saghir Elahi Kachchi hailed from Larkana district of Sindh and his other family and relatives were also affected by the epidemic, while 10 people from his neighborhood also died due to corona.
