Fahad Mustafa's tribute to the folk singer Allan Faqir
Karachi: Famous actor and host Fahad Mustafa paid tribute to folk singer Allan Faqir.
On social networking site Instagram, Fahd Mustafa shared a photo saying, "A small tribute to Allan Faqir.
It should be noted that the folk artist was awarded the Presidential Award for Best Performance by the Government of Pakistan in 1980, besides being awarded other awards for his service in the music world.
Allan Faqir's songs reflect the culture of Sindh, he gave his unique style to the music. He successfully planned the journey from the shrine of Sindh Sufi saint Shah Abdul Latif Bhatai to Pakistan Television.
He is still regarded as the crowning king of folk singer, Allan Faqir has given everlasting songs like "tere ishq mein jo bhi doob gaya" and "tu ne Pakistan Diya” to country.
Born in 1932 in the densely populated area of the Mehran Valley, in district Dadu Allan Faqir had been mystical since childhood, Nature blessed him with a beautiful voice, Allan Faqir gained fame in the country and abroad by singing mystical words.
Allan Faqir was also awarded several awards due to his unique style of singing. The folk singer's star left from the world on July 4, 2000. The folk singer Allan Faqir passed away from the fans 19 years ago, but his voice still echoes in ears and awakens the sensation of the earthy soil of Sindh.
