Mark Zuckerberg, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Facebook, said that a new feature “Facebook New Tab” will be introduced in the future. Now the company is going to add this new feature to Facebook. News Tab is a dedicated feature of Facebook for testing news. Facebook is going to add a new home in its Android app named as Facebook News. It is a dedicated news tab Facebook is going to unveil this week.
Mark Zukerberg teased this new announcement during his tete-a-tete with congress this week. “Later in this week we actually have a big announcement coming up on launching a big initiative around news and journalism where we’re partnering with a lot of folks to build a new product that’s supporting high-quality journalism.”, says Mark Zukerberg.
According to sources, initially, this feature will be available in some cities in America. Later on, it will be unveiled for all cities of the USA. Facebook will pay some news agencies lacs of dollars. Although, some other new agencies will not be paid.
