If you want to convert your petrol-powered motorcycle into an electric motorcycle, it is now possible. Motorcycles are considered a middle-class ride in Pakistan and this is the class that is most affected by rising inflation.
If oil prices rise in the world, the first thought that comes to the mind of the Pakistani people is how much more expensive petrol will be next month and how this inflation will affect their budget.
Over the past decade in Pakistan, various companies have introduced electric motorcycles to solve this problem, but most of them were imported and could not be popular due to their high cost.
However, now in Sahiwal, Punjab Province, Pakistan, the two companies have jointly started the process of manufacturing electric motorcycles in Pakistan.
Usman Sheikh, CEO of Our Technologies, a Lahore-based electric motorcycle company, told the BBC he was the first assembler to manufacture electric bikes in Pakistan with his own design.
