Islamabad: Another good news has come about the web portal for Overseas Pakistanis, OCP Commission web portal is being linked to Citizen Portal.

According to News, OCP Vice-Chairman Chaudhry Waseem Akhtar has said that police facilitation centres will be set up in five cities for overseas Pakistanis, OCP web portal will also be linked with Citizen Portal, by this step will further improve the process of registering and processing complaints of overseas Pakistanis.

The Vice-Chairman said that location marking for the facility centres will be done this month, this facility is being provided in five cities which will benefit the Overseas Pakistanis.

Remember that earlier Zulfi Bukhari, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis introduced a new Pakistan Calling Web Portal for overseas Pakistanis, the purpose of this portal was to facilitate the collection and communication of data from doctors, engineers, professors and other specialists abroad.

It may be recalled that on February 17 last month, the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Malaysian Social Security reached an agreement, under which the registration of Pakistani workers into Malaysian Social Security has begun, now Malaysian employers will give the information of Pakistani workers to Malaysian Social Security. In case of an accident, Pakistani workers will get free medical and financial assistance while in case of death, the family will receive a monthly stipend.
