KARACHI: A bill to restore student unions has been approved at a meeting of Sindh cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah. The bill will be passed after consultation with all stakeholders.
The Sindh Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah attended the meeting.
According to the spokesman of the Sindh government, the bill will be introduced in the Assembly and sent to the Standing Committee on LA. The bill will be passed by the Sindh Assembly after consultation with stakeholders.
According to him, the task of the Student Union is to improve social and academic welfare. The union will select students, consisting of 7 to 11 members
