Jeddah: An 80-year-old and rare photograph of the Saudi city Jeddah has surfaced, this picture is of 1362 AH, in which clay houses can be seen.

According to details, King Abdul-Aziz, Saudi Arabia's cultural hub, has released an old and rare photo of Jeddah, which is about 80 years old, taken from American magazine Life, the magazine published its first interview of King Abdul Aziz.

In this image depicts the civilization of the time and the ancient style of Jeddah is visible.

The road as seen in the photo taken in 1362 AH is also not durable, and soils made of houses are also prominent, while the water supply to homes can be seen.

It is to be noted that UNESCO has declared the ancient area of Jeddah al bald as a historical heritage, the ancient buildings here are being restored in the same manner and an initial amount of 50 million rials have been earmarked for restoration and repair.

Remember that King Abdul-Aziz Academy of Saudi Arabia released a 100-year-old photo of the ancient market of Riyadh, which went viral on social media, showing palm trees and unsurfaced shops of the market.

Earlier, a 100-year-old photo of Medina Munawara was also released. The small area of the city could be seen in the picture and the area of the mosque Nabawi was very small.
