KARACHI: Traffic police have set up a traffic plan for PSL matches, which reported that parking is arranged at 4 places for cricket spectators. The visitor must show an identification card and match ticket to watch the match.
According to details, a traffic plan has been set up for the PSL matches in Karachi. The matches will be held at National Stadium from February 20 to 23 and matches will also be played from March 12 to March 15 and March 17 at the National Stadium.
According to the traffic police, more than 1,700 police personnel will perform their duties and traffic police chiefs will be present at different points while parking is arranged for fans at 4 places.
According to the Traffic Plan, parking will be arranged at Federal Urdu University and Gharib Nawaz foot Ball Ground, Expo centre, and Raina Liaqat Ali Khan Girls College, the visitor must show identification card and match ticket to watch the match.
Traffic police say the stadium road will be closed from Sharai Faisal, Dalmia and Newtown while heavy traffic will be closed from Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad to Hassan Square, People's Chorangi to University Road and Karsaz to Stadium Road.
Traffic police say residential show their ID cards from nearby sides will be able to visit their homes, while the University Road, Shaheed Millat Road and Rashid Minhas Road will be open for traffic for the convenience of the citizens.
Traffic police spokesmen have urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and traffic police to avoid problems and to follow the instructions and park their vehicles and motorcycles in the identified parking areas.
