The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has launched Hamaray Heroes Campaign for the 2021 Edition in association with Inverx Solar Energy.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the campaign introduced in PSL 2020 was well-received, including kabaddi player Inam Butt, ACF Animal Rescue founder Ayesha Chandragar, mountaineer Nazir. Names like Sultan, e-sports player Arsalan and filmmaker Safahim Azvi are included.
The statement said that a total of 32 'Hamaray Heroes' services were appreciated in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi during PSL 2020. The PCB said that like last year, this year too, in partnership with Inverex Solar Energy, PSL 2021 will provide services to people from education, culture, arts, music, social service, sports, technology, and health. The statement said that the services of outstanding and valuable performers in the above-mentioned fields would be appreciated for which PSL fans can contribute in nominations for Hamaray Heroes in various categories and they can Nominate an individual or organization in recognition of social service.
This year, the PCB has categorized Hamaray Heroes as Education, Arts, and Culture, Social Welfare, Social Entrepreneurship, Sports, Science and Technology, Public Health. Director Commercial PCB Babar Hamid said that after the acceptance of the Hamaray Heroes Campaign in PSL 2020, we have decided to continue to appreciate the services of Pakistan's anonymous heroes through this campaign this year as well.
"We are giving PSL fans a chance to nominate individuals or organizations in these categories," he said.
