After the rain on the third day of the first Test match of the series being played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the match could not start on time due to the wet field which started after 1 pm after ground drying and a lunch break.
Sri Lanka started their unbeaten innings on the third day of the match, while Dhananjia De Silva was on the wicket with 72 runs and Dilran Pereira 2 runs.
After the match was delayed due to rain, Dhananjia De Silva and Dilrano Pereira put the team score at 282 runs due to poor light.
On the first day of the Test match, Sri Lanka won the toss and scored 202 for five against Pakistan.
The second day's game was badly affected by the rain on the previous day and only 18.2 overs were possible throughout the day.
So far, only 91.5 overs have been played in 3 days, after which the outcome of this match seems quite certain.
