New Zealand Tour: Big Blow to National Team, Captain Babar Azam Out of T20 Series

Captain Babar Azam has been ruled out of the T20 International series against New Zealand due to a fractured thumb of his right hand. Imam-ul-Haq of Shaheens also injured his thumb.

The tour of New Zealand on the national squad was surrounded by heavy, first quarantine and now injuries. During practice in Queenstown, the thumb of captain Babar Azam's right hand was fractured by a ball. After taking him to the hospital and getting an X-ray, the doctors advised him to rest for 12 days.
Vice-captain Shadab Khan has been named captain of the national team in the T20 series. Will be able to fulfill responsibilities.
Not only that, but Imam-ul-Haq, a member of the Shaheens, also suffered a fractured thumb and has been ruled out of the four-day match against New Zealand A.
