Changes in the management of the teams have begun before the start of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) next season, and Islamabad United has started the process by removing Dean Jones.

Former national team coach Mickey Arthur served as Karachi Kings coach but in no season did the Karachi Kings team play well and failed to reach the final of all four editions.

After the Arthur's contract with the national team, despite the franchise's continued failures, now the Kings of Karachi have decided to try Dean Jones for a coaching position under the supervision of Islamabad United's two-time champions.

According to reports, Multan Sultans like Islamabad United and Karachi Kings have decided to change the team management and they are in touch with the former Zimbabwean wicket-keeper batsman Andy Flower.

The Multan Sultans team was coached by Tom Moody in 2018, while this year Johan Botha of South Africa performed the duties.

The draft of the players for the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League is expected in December this year and it is likely that the three franchises will announce the names of their new coaches.
