Pakistan Super League's most popular franchise and 2017 champion Peshawar Zalmi chairman Javed Afridi, captain Darren Sammy and other players met with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The delegation of Zalmi Peshawar met with Prime Minister Imran Khan under the leadership of Chairman Javed Afridi on Wednesday.
The meeting was held in Islamabad along with Javed Afridi along with captain Darren Sammy, franchise mentor Hashim Amla and coach Mohammad Akram.
Prime Minister Imran Khan warmly congratulated Darren Sammy on his honorary citizenship.
Talking to Darren Sammy, the Prime Minister said that you are now our citizen and your role in the restoration of international cricket in Pakistan will always be remembered.

Imran Khan said that Javed Afridi has always emphasized Darren Sammy's appreciation of cricketing services in Pakistan and has done a lot of service to Pakistan cricket along with Sammy himself.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Pakistan also welcomed the great South African batsman and Hashim Amla, Mentor of Peshawar Zalmi.

The Prime Minister said that he is happy that the whole PSL is happening in Pakistan and people are happy. Stadiums are filled in all matches of PSL which has sent a positive message to Pakistan all over the world.
