Chairman PCB's astounding revelations at a meeting of the Standing Committee

The chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ehsan Mani, was summoned several times and finally appeared before the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, where he was stricken with his statement and later had to withdraw his words.

At a meeting held at the Pakistan Sports Complex, led by Member National Assembly Aga Baloch, chairman PCB told committee member Munwarah Bibi Baloch that if they needed tickets from Pakistan Super League (PSL), they would buy them from the market.

On these remarks of kindness, all the members of the committee announced the boycott of the meeting expressing their unhappiness, but before the situation could have been worse, Ihsan Mani withdrew his words.

The meeting was attended by Chairman PCB Director Domestic Cricket Haroon Rasheed and other officials who briefed the standing committee on cricket issues.

He said that the entire edition of the PSL had a great return in the country and the fifth edition of the league proved to be a great success. 450 international players have registered themselves for the league, which is considered as the highest quality of the league.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman PCB made a surprising revelation, saying that before becoming PCB chief, the former administration of the board paid $ 25,000 per person to each player visiting the West Indian team. The players from another visiting team were paid $ 15,000 per person.

He said that no extra money was given to any team that came to Pakistan in our era, Pakistan hosted Sri Lanka and other teams which benefited Pakistan cricket a lot.

He revealed that PCB awarded 14 percent of PSL tickets honourably, on which members of the committee asked for the details of the recipients of the honorary tickets, but Mani said that the awarding of honorarium tickets to police officers, among others. Done.

"If we did not provide them with a text, they would have blocked our entry into our stadium," he said.

Some members of the committee appear to want to check for honorary tickets, on which Chairman PCB said that he always buys tickets to watch the matches, so the MPs have no right to a free ticket.

Referring to the Asia Cup, Ehsan Mani said that there was no bilateral series between Pakistan and India so the Asia Cup generates funds for new emerging teams.

He said that the Asian Cricket Council would decide to host the Asia Cup and pointed out that the event could be held at a neutral location so that associate countries could not be deprived of funds.

The meeting was disorganized once again when the tennis players entered the room during the meeting and they sought the interruption of the awards ceremony with Minister of Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fahmida Mirza.

Earlier, some MPs briefed the meeting on poor coordination at the Pakistan Sports Board coaching centre in Karachi, but Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination assured the committee that the Pakistan Sports Board, as well as the Inter-Provincial Coordination Ministry, were better at the aforementioned coaching centre.
