Why PCB suspend Umar Akmal

Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) suspended Omar Akmal, after which the Umar Akmal cannot participate in any form of cricket, Quetta Gladiators can use alternative player.

According to the details, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) suspended Umar Akmal, suspended under the anti-Corruption Code, during the inquiry, he could not participate in any form of cricket.

Sources say no comment will be made by PCB until the inquiry is completed, Quetta Gladiators can use the alternative player.

Remember that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had left Umar Akmal with a severe warning, PCB officials said that after knowing the stand of all the parties, it has come to know that the incident was occurred by misunderstanding.

According to the PCB spokesman, Omar Akmal expressed regret over the incident after which the board complained to him about his responsibilities as a senior cricketer. The matter is now settled, PCB and Omar Akmal will not comment further on the matter.

The Pakistan Cricket Board had formed a three-member inquiry committee headed by Haroon Rasheed to discuss Umar Akmal's disparaging behaviour, and other members of the committee included Dr Sohail Saleem and members of the legal panel.

The cricketer Omar Akmal appeared before the committee and described his position.
