Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has been declared as the richest party in the country, PTI owns assets worth 22crore 53 lakh while Sheikh Rasheed's Awami Muslim League is among the poorest parties.

According to the details, the Election Commission released details of political parties' assets for the period of 2019 - 2018, only 82 out of 125 political parties submitted the details.

According to the Election Commission, the assets of PTI are 22crore 53lakh, which has reduced to Rs 9 crore in one year. The party chairman has given the oath that there was no funding from prohibited sources. PTI expenditures more than 50 crores 87 lakh in 1 year.

Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians have a bank balance of 16 crores, out of which Rs1 crore 35 lakhs was received as fund while assets worth is Rs17 lakhs 16 thousand, Pakistan Peoples Party's expenditure is over 2 crores and income is 57000rs.

The PML-N also earned revenue from the income, N-League had a revenue of Rs 1 crore 55 lakhs and expenditure of Rs 20 crore while the assets were worth Rs 8 crore 17 lakhs.

Sheikh Rasheed's Awami Muslim League is among the poorest political parties, with only Rs 2.5 lakh in his account; Baluchistan Awami Party has a bank balance of Rs. 231,000 while MQM has assets worth Rs. Raised Rs 4 crore 19 lakh.

Similarly, Jamaat-e-Islami owns assets worth Rs 90,18,000 while Q League has assets worth Rs.4 crore 99lakh.
