What did the citizen do when he got over Rs 60 crore?

Riyadh: News of a citizen in Saudi Arabia receiving a hefty sum of 15 million riyals has shocked social media users.

According to a report by a foreign news agency in the Gulf state of Saudi Arabia, previous days the news was on social media that a villager in the Eastern Region received a huge amount of 15 million rials on the road.

The villagers had set a prime example of trust for handed over the money to police received from the al Jof commissioner
Colonel Yazid al-Nomos, a police spokesman for the Eastern Region, dismissed the news as a rumour on social media.

Colonel Yazid said that no one had received 15 million riyals on the road and no citizen had deposited such huge amount of money to the police.

According to the police spokesman, if a person gives such a large amount of money to the police, a regular FIR is filed and it is entered in the journal and handed over to the relevant person.
