We have nothing to do with Israel: Saudi Foreign Minister
Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has said that Arab countries will build relations with Israel only when Israel and Palestinians agree on a solution, we have nothing to do with Israel.
In an interview to the Saudi website, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said that Saudi Arabia stands with Palestine in full force, we have nothing to do with Israel.
The Saudi Foreign Minister said that Saudi Arabia's policy on the Palestinian issue is the same today and it will remain tomorrow. There is no fact that Saudi Arabia and Israeli meeting plans are in place.
He said that Arab countries would build relations with Israel only when Israeli and Palestinian agreed on a solution. We will welcome any attempt to resolve the Palestinian issue.
It is to be noted that Khadim Harmain Shareefain Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz had shortly telephoned Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas after US President Donald Trump announced the Middle East peace plan.
Shah Salman had told the Palestinian president that the issue was not going to change Saudi Arabia's position on the rights of Palestine and the Palestinian people.
