WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump made the first telephonic contact with the Afghan Taliban after a historic peace deal, President Trump told reporters in the White House, saying the Taliban talked very well, we do not want violence, but let's see what happens next. 

According to details, US President Donald Trump's first direct contact with the Afghan Taliban came from President Trump over half an hour over the phone by Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Baradar.

US President Trump and Afghan Taliban spokesman confirmed the talks, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said Mullah Baradar had asked President Trump to implement the agreement, It is the basic right of the Afghans that as soon as possible the points of the agreement are implemented, the US Secretary of State will contact the Afghan President to end the interruption of talks.

Regarding the talks, the US President said that after a very good conversation with the Taliban leader, we both agree that violent acts should not be taken. We do not want violence, but we see what happens next.

Remembered that the AFP, a foreign news agency, claimed The Afghan Taliban has announced the end of a temporary ceasefire with the US two days ago.

According to the news agency, the Taliban had said that operations in Afghanistan would continue, the US would have to fulfil its promise to release 5,000 prisoners, otherwise, the Taliban would start operations in Afghanistan.

Before that, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said that the United States withdrew from the crucial terms of the Taliban peace agreement, but did not promise to release 5,000 Taliban prisoners.

US President Donald Trump has said he will meet with Taliban leaders in the near future and will meet Taliban leaders soon and the number of US troops deployed in Afghanistan will be reduced to 5,000 by May.
